LONDON : European stock markets closed lower on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top shares down 0.99 p

In Frankfurt, the DAX fell 0.44 percent to 7,158.77 points and in Paris the CAC 40 dropped 1.07 percent to 3,672.77 points.
