Mills to get 50,000MT wheat for Ramzan

While talking to APP here on Thursday, he said that in this regard committees are being formed at district and taluka levels to monitor price-hike and ensure provision of flour at subsidized rates to poor and the people possessing Watan cards or Benazir Income Support Programme cards.

According to him, flour was being sold at Rs 27-28 per kilogram in the city but under the Ramzan package it would be sold at Rs 21 per kg.

Flour bag of 10kg was being sold at Rs 260-270 and its price would be brought down to Rs 210 under the package

He said complaint cells are also being set up at district, taluka and union council levels where responsible officers would be deputed, besides notifying telephone numbers of all these centers.
