LSE gains 106.89 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 106.89 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5700.69 points and closed at 5807.58 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.122 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.283 million shares, showing an upward move of 838,600 shares.

While, out of the total 101 active scrips 42 moved up, 7 shed values and 52 remained equal. The top three Major Gainers of the day were Millat Tractors Limited, Ferozsons Laboratories and KSB Pumps Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.39, Rs 8.54 and Rs 6.61 respectively.

Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Mari Petroleum Company and Pakistan Telecommunication Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 7.09, Rs 2.38 and Re 0.62 respectively. Top three Volume Leaders of the day included summit Bank Limited with 598,000 shares, Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 539,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 517,500 shares.
