Mauritius 3-year Treasury bonds yield rises to 3.11pc

PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' three-year Treasury bond rose to 3.11 percent from 2.74 percent at a previous sale in November, the central bank said on Wednesday.

The Bank of Mauritius offered 1.2 billion rupees ($38.03 million) worth of debt but accepted bids for 1.5 billion rupees.

Bids totalled 2.550 billion rupees with yields ranging from 2.96 percent to 5.0 percent.

The bond has a coupon rate of 3.10 percent and is due on December 5, 2017.
