He directed the concerned quarters to look into profiteering, hoarding and sale of substandard items to protect the consumers from menace of unlawful hike in prices and linked consequence, said a statement issued on Sunday.
He directed that legal action must be taken against the defaulters in accordance with the rules and regulations.
With the specific reference of news reports and public complaints pertaining to profiteering, hoarding and sale of substandard items, the CS Sindh maintained that systematic arrangements be made in this regard, on priority basis ahead of the holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.
Raja Muhammad Abbas categorically noted that no negligence could be ignored to this effect.
