China shares end near 2-month high, property in focus

SHANGHAI : China shares rose 0.4 percent on Friday, supported by construction companies even though large cap property

The Shanghai Composite ended at 2,820.2 points, the highest level since late May, after rising 0.5 percent on Thursday. The index climbed 0.8 percent for the week.

China's cabinet on Thursday extended home purchase restrictions to more cities and reminded local governments to keep in place measures to tighten the property market.
