Kaira distanced his party from Mirza's recent statement and said that the PPP respects MQM's chief Altaf Hussain and his mandate. "I feel sorry for Zulfiqar Mirza's statement," he added.
He said that in this situation political parties should avoid blame game and issuing such type of statements against each other as it creates hurdles.
Kaira said that PPP will continue the policy of reconciliation and Karachi situation will be settled soon.
He said that media should play its positive role and exercise maximum level of responsibility while reporting the facts in current situation.
