Japan oil sales fall 9.7pc in August

TOKYO: Japan's oil product sales in August fell 9.7 percent from a year earlier, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) said on Tuesday.

Oil product sales in the fourth-biggest importer of crude decreased to 2.91 million barrels per day (14.32 million kilolitres) for the month, the ministry said.
