CAIRO: Egypt's Finance Minister Samir Radwan said on Saturday the ministry had allocated an extra 1.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($256.1 million) to finance wheat purchases, the state news agency MENA said.

He said he brought the total allocated over the past two days to 2.8 billion pounds. ($1=5.857 Egyptian Pound)
