CJP to chair NJPMC meeting on Saturday

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk would chair meeting of National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC) on Saturday.

The meeting will review implementation status of project for installation of Unified Integrated Automation System for Superior Courts, request for posting of judicial officers in Ministry of Law Justice and Human Rights in relaxation of National Judicial Policy, mechanism to ensure issuance and execution of warrants/summons and framing of ADR rules for resolution of disputes, said a press release issued here on Friday.

The Committee will also review implementation status of its recommendations regarding allocation of additional funds to strengthening District Judiciary in term of human resource and infrastructure.

The meeting will be attended by Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Chief Justice, Federal Shariat Court, Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mengal Chief Justice High Court of Balochistan, Justice Imtiaz Ahmed Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Justice Maqbool Baqar Chief Justice High Court of Sindh and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel Chief Justice Peshawar High Court. Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi,Chief Justice Islamabad High Court, Justice Mohammad Azam Khan, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Rana Muhammad Arshad Khan,Chief Judge, Supreme Appellate Court Gilgit-Baltistan and Justice Sahib Khan,Chief Judge, Chief Court, Gilgit-Baltistan will also attend the meeting on special invitation. Raja Akhlaq Hussain, Secretary, NJPMC and the Registrars of the superior courts will also attend the meeting.
