Saudi Arabia says seeking 550,000 tonnes of hard wheat

ABU DHABI: Saudi Arabia's state grain buyer, the Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organisation (GSFMO), said on Thursday it was seeking 550,000 tonnes of hard wheat in a tender.

The wheat is for shipment during December and January, Waleed el Khereiji, Director General of GSFMO said.

Of the total, 275,000 tonnes are for shipment to the port of Jeddah and 275,000 tonnes are for Dammam.

The deadline for offers is Friday, he said.
