China to sell $1.95bn govt bonds in HK

BEIJING: China plans to sell 12 billion yuan ($1.95 billion) of government debt in Hong Kong in coming months, the state news agency Xinhua quoted the Finance Ministry as saying on Monday.

The Chinese central government has sold 96 billion yuan worth of debt as of the end of July, Xinhua said.
