Acknowledging the right of MQM, whether to join Treasury or Opposition, the minister, said PPP desires that MQM should make concerted efforts with the government to steering the country out of problems.
Talking to a private television channel, the minister said leadership of both MQM and PPP have the ability to sort out differences.
The government, she said, is considering the reservation of MQM, and it would remove those bottlenecks at a proper time, and in consultation with its leadership.
The minister said PPP still has the required majority to run the government, and it is not worried of any Grand Alliance, adding strong opposition would further strengthen democracy and Parliament.
"We want Opposition to get stronger, and give roadmap and alternative strategies instead of criticism," Dr. Firdous said.
The minister said if designed for public good, Government would surely implement those alternative programmes propounded by the opposition.
