Prices also rebounded from multi-month lows ahead of a US government crop report due on Thursday and on lower US crop condition ratings.
July corn peaked at $7.05-1/4 per bushel and was quoted up 2.3 percent at $6.99 at 2348 GMT, still short of a record price of nearly $8 per bushel reached in May when delayed plantings in the world's top exporter of the grain, underpinned prices. On Tuesday, corn rose about 3 percent.
