Greece to auction 1.25bn euros of 3 month T-bills on July 15

11 Jul, 2014

ATHENS: Greece will auction 1.25 billion euros of three-month treasury bills on July 15 to refinance a maturing issue, the country's debt agency PDMA said on Friday.

Athens has a stock of about 15 billion euros of T-bills that it regularly refinances.

Last month, Greece sold three-month treasury paper at 1.80 percent, the lowest funding cost since January 2010.

The settlement date will be July 18. Only primary dealers will be allowed to participate and no commission will be paid.

Greece on Thursday raised 1.5 billion euros from a three-year bond issue, falling short of expectations that it would raise up to 3 billion euros ($4.09 billion).
