Former diplomat terms Pak-India talks vital for building trust

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he expressed hope that the talks would help to resolve various key issues like Kashmir, Siachen and peace and security in the region and would yield positive results for both India and Pakistan.

He said issues which are less complicated should be resolved first and the most complicated later. India and Pakistan should take solid steps to remove the tension and normalize the relations. Both the countries should make efforts to continue the talks process on various levels, he added.

He said establishment of peace in the region is directly linked with peaceful and cordial atmosphere between Pakistan and India. Both the sides should realize the fact that the talks are the only way towards resolution of vital problems.
