According to a statement issued here on Monday, during crackdown the administration fined 76 milk sellers, 25 food items grocers, 24 chicken sellers, three vegetables sellers and a fruits seller.
The action against profiteers were taken in the areas including Civil Line, Saddar, Garden, Ferozabad, Jamshed Quarters, Gulshan Iqbal, Gulzar Hijri, Orangi, Liaquat Abad, Gulberg, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Shah Faisal, Landhi, Bin Qasim and Korangi.
Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui has said that the operation against profiteers will continue till its logical end.
