Power shortfall slightly eases to 3,300 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country slightly eased to 3,300 MW from 3,600 MW as the total generation on Wednesday was recorded as 14,000 MW against the demand of 17,300 MW at 11:00 hours.

According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) the hydel generation stood at 4,910 MW, Wapda Thermal 2,040 MW, and Independent power producers (IPPs) 7,050 MW.
