Addressing the business community at Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), he said that dictatorship has destroyed the country and also sown the seeds of hatred which has now grown up.

He urged the citizens of Karachi to come forward to rout out the menace of terrorism.

Law Minister also asked to ensure consistency in policies to overcome the socio-economic challenges being faced by the country and put the country on fast track development.

The different crisis which the country is facing was the results of wrong decision and mis-management of the last decade long dictatorship which had canceled all power generation projects initiated by the PPP government including independent power producers (IPPs) projects, he added.

He told the business community that the government has again started the power producing project in Tharr to overcome the energy crisis in the country and for rapid industrial growth and development.

The government has taken all the stakeholder on board in budget making process including business community for federal budget 2011-12 and also highlighted the weakness of the government, he added.

Moula Bukhsh said that the government would provide all legal assistance to promote trade and business activities for industrial development in the country.

Speaking on the occasion President FPCCI Haji Ghulam Ali thanked the government for taking the chambers on board during budget making process and termed the budget 2011-12 a balanced budget under current circumstances.
