LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Thursday handed over US national Raymond Davis, involved in killing of two Pakistanis, to police for another eight-days physical remand.

The accused was presented before the court amid strict security.  Police requested the court to grant the physical remand of the accused to complete the interrogation.  Judicial Magistrate Zafar Sial granted eight-day remand and directed the police to present the accused before the court on February 11.

However, the court accepted the bail of accused in illegal arms case and directed to submit surety bond of Rs100,000.

Davis, an employee of the US Consulate, Lahore, is accused of shooting two persons to death at Mozang Chungi on January 27.
