Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 80% at the Port on Monday where a total of nine ships namely MSC Magali, Acacla-N, Al- Azizoo, Orient III, Sam Eagle, Indigo Ocean, Nahide-M, MV. Al- Soor-II and Fuji Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, foil, wheat, furnace oil and edible oil respectIvely during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 76751 tonnes, comprising 53382 tonnes imports and 23369 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1428 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

MT. Magali sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning while MV. Al-Soor-II and Fuji Galaxy will sail later today.

Three ships MT. Nedlloyed Tasman, CV. Deira and Fair Spirit are expected to take berths at QICT and FOTCO Terminals respectively on Tuesday, June 21.
