LSE loses 37.32 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by losing 37.32 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5706.41 points and closed at 5669.09 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.777 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.854 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.923 million shares. While, out of the total 99 active scrips 15 moved up, 30 shed values and 54 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Shell Pakistan Limited, Packages Limited and Highnoon Laboratories Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 12.16, Rs 8.90 and Rs 4.39 respectively.

Hino Pak Motors Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Attock Refinery Limited lost their per share value by Rs 22.48, Rs 6.89 and Rs 5.55 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included K-Electric Limited with 2.209 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 652,500 shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 264,500 shares.
