Power shortfall slightly eases to 3,200 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country on Friday slightly eased to 3,200 MW from 3,300 MW as the total generation was recorded as 12,800 MW against the demand of 15,000 MW at 09:30 hours.

According to daily data released by the National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 4,450 MW, thermal 1,780 MW, Wind 90 MW and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 6,570 MW.
