Power shortfall further surges to 2,600 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country on Thursday again surged 2,600 MW as the total generation was recorded as 12,400 MW against the demand of 15,000 MW at 09:30 hours.

According to daily data released by the National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 4,250 MW, thermal 1,820 MW, Wind 25 MW and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 6,330 MW.
