Russia says ready for gas talks with Kiev after Ukraine pays debt

MOSCOW: Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky said on Monday that Moscow is ready for further gas negotiations with Ukraine only after Kiev pays outstanding gas debt.

Russia's state-controlled natural gas producer Gazprom said last week that Ukraine's total debt for Russian gas stands at $3.51 billion.
