LSE looses 66.08 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearsh trend by losing 66.08 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5512.47 points and closed at 5446.39 points.

The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.792 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.200 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.407 million shares. While, out of the total 95 active scrips 14 moved up, 38 shed values and 43 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were National Refinery Limited, AVANCEON Limited, Nishat (Chunian) Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.57, Rs 1.40 and Rs 1.13 respectively.

Nishat Mills Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and Netsol Technologies Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.15, Rs 2.50 and Rs 2 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 289,000 shares, Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 268,000 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 207,500 shares.
