33 damaged schools re-functioned in Orakzai Agency

To restore the broken education process in the area, the political administration has provided 172 large tents to 33 damaged schools across the Agency. With this intervention more than 33 government schools have been made functional and the education remained continue without any disturbance. This rehabilitation process will also save the future of thousands of local students. Similarly, authorities have also provided ten tents to four Basic Health Units (BHUs) and Civil Dispensaries (CDs) in the agency to continue their paramedic's activities.

This intervention will benefit more than 4463 students and 192 teachers of the schools. The Political Agent Orakzai Agency Riaz Khan Masood along with other officials visited some of the tented schools in Bezoti, Jalaka Mela and Chaman Jana areas and expressed his satisfaction over the education process in the tented classrooms.

While talking to the students and teachers on the occasion, the political agent said that government is committed to provide quality education to the children of conflict hit areas to bring them back in the mainstream of life. He emphasized on the students to focus only on their studies. The political administration will provide school uniform and bags to the talented students of the best tented schools, he added.

The students, teachers and tribal elders thanked the govt and welcomed the government initiative to supply tents to the schools, saying that the initiative shows the governments commitment to make education accessible to tribal children.
