Power shortfall eases to 1,850 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country further eased to 1,850 MW as the total generation on Tuesday was recorded as 9,650 MW against the demand of 11,500 MW at 1000 hours.

According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 2,690 MW, Thermal 1,150 MW and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,810 MW.
