1,950 MW power shortfall recorded

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country eased to 1,950 MW as the total generation on Wednesday was recorded as 9,250 MW against the demand of 11,200 MW at 0930 hours.

According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 3,025 MW, Thermal 640 MW and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,585 MW.
