C$ hits session low after weak wholesale trade

TORONTO: The Canadian dollar weakened to a session low against the US dollar on Wednesday after data showed domestic wholesale trade fell by more than expected in December.

The Canadian dollar was at C$1.0970 to the greenback, or 91.16 US cents, weaker than Tuesday's close of C$1.0951, or 91.32 US cents.
