Argentine soy prices flat on CBOT closure

* Soy prices in Rosario ended almost unchanged at 1,270 pesos ($294) per tonne -- stripped of its usual direction by the closure of the benchmark Chicago market for the US Memorial Day holiday, traders said.

* Soy closed at between 1,270 and 1,280 pesos on Friday.

* Argentine dock workers threatened on Monday to block grains shipments from the Rosario port area as part of a labor dispute with fertilizer maker Mosaic

* In Rosario, soybeans for May 2012 delivery, priced in US dollars, closed unchanged at $315 per tonne.

* In the southern ports of Quequen and Bahia Blanca the oilseed also closed flat at 1,260 pesos and 1,270 pesos per tonne, respectively.
