Gross domestic product growth slowed to an annual rate of 1.8 percent from the 2010 fourth quarter pace of 3.1 percent, the Commerce Department said in its second estimate.
GDP growth in the January-March period was weaker than the revised reading of 2.0 percent expected by most analysts.
