"Pakistan wants peace and promote trade relations for the benefit of brotherly people of the two countries" said Senator Haji Ghulam Ali President FPCCI while addressing the two-day Pak-Afghanistan conference held in Dubai today.

The Vice President of FPCCI Muhammad Usman Sheikh,General Secretary Syed Masood Alam Rizvi and Vice President of Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khan Jan Alkozai and businessmen of the two countries also attended the conference.

According to a statement of the FPCCI issued here the conference was jointly organized by Pakistan-Afghanistan joint chambers and FPCCI aiming at to further promote bilateral trade and investment relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Senator, Haji Ghulam Ali said that FPCCI and Pak-Afghan joint chambers can play their vital role for further promotion of trade relations for the prosperity of the both neighboring countries.

He urged the investors and business community of the two countries to take benefit of the investment opportunities being offered by both the countries.

Haji Ghulam Ali said that both Pakistan and Afghanistan are the members of SAARC and OIC and their geographic locations are also ideal for promoting business between them.

He said that Pakistan has always extended its socio-economic support to Afghanistan adding that despite its limited resources Pakistan has served as a gate way role to the country.

Earlier President ACCI Khan Jan Alkozai and a delegation of Supreme Transport International Corporation and Blue Green World Limited called on Senator Haji Ghulam Ali and discussed matters of mutual trade relations.

Haji Ghulam Ali told them that Pakistan offers tremendous opportunities for domestic investors and urged the Afghani business community to take advantage of it.

He added that there are also investment opportunities in Afghanistan and soon an investment delegation from Pakistan to Afghanistan to explore business opportunities there.
