Nigeria aims to raise 90bn naira in first 2014 bond auction

LAGOS: Nigeria plans to raise 90 billion naira ($566 million) in bonds with maturities of three and 20 years at its first monthly debt auction of the year on Jan. 15, the Debt Management Office said on Friday.

The office said it would issue 45 billion naira each of the bonds maturing in August 2016 and July 2030 using the Dutch Auction system.

The notes are re-openings of previous issues.
