South Korea bonds edge higher on BoK rate cut bets

SEOUL: South Korean bonds edged higher on Wednesday, as some investors bet that the Bank of Korea could deliver a surprise rate cut on Thursday to boost economic growth.

Yield on the benchmark 10-year government bonds ended down 0.5 basis points, while lead March futures on three-year treasury bonds ended up 0.02 points.
