LSE gains 24.54 points

LAHORE : The Lahore Stock Exchange witnessed bullish trend by gaining 24.54 points on Tuesday as LSE-25 index opened wit

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend with 2.710 million shares to close against previous day's turnover of 1.267 million shares, showing a volume difference of 1.443 million shares.

While out of the total 117 active scrips 63 remained equal, 11 shed values and 43 scrips scaled up.

Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Treet Corporation Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.76, Rs 2.69 and Rs 2.66 respectively.

Shell Pakistan Limited, United Bank Limited and Flying Cement Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.87, Re 0.73 and Re 0.49 respectively.

The volume leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with turnover of 576,680 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 402,993 and Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with 241,300 shares.
