South Korea to sell 7.2 trillion won of treasury bonds in January

SEOUL: South Korea plans to sell 7.2 trillion won ($6.82 billion) worth of treasury bonds through auctions in January, more than the 6.4 trillion won offered in December, the finance ministry said on Thursday.

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance also said it will exchange 200 billion won worth of existing paper with new debt.
