Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships carrying edible oil, vehicle and furnace oil were berthed at Engro Vopak Terminal, Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Sunday, 15th December. Meanwhile six more ships carrying containers, rice, furnace oil and chemical are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port on Monday where total four ships namely Alliance Stlculs, Stolt Zulu, M.T Lahore and Argent Hibiscus are currently occupying berths to load/offload, vehicle, chemical, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 91025 tonnes comprising 85825 tonnes imports and 4200 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 605 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
