Power shortfall eases to 900 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country eased to 900 MW as the total generation on Wednesday was recorded as 10,300 MW against the demand of 11,200 MW at 0900 hours.

According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 3,400 MW, Thermal 1,470 and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,430 MW.
