According to PTA Spokesman on Wednesday, till date only 16.7 million mobile SIM cards have been verified while 0.875 million SIM cards were blocked for not being verified, a private news channel reported.
The spokesman said that more unregistered SIM cards would be blocked in coming four weeks. He further said that till all SIM cards were not registered, the process of blocking unverified SIM cards would continue.
