C$ firms to session high after GDP data

TORONTO: The Canadian dollar firmed to a session high against the greenback on Friday after data showed the Canadian economy grew at a stronger pace than expected in the third quarter.

The Canadian dollar was at C$1.0564 to the US dollar, or 94.66 US cents, stronger than Thursday's close of C$1.0587 or 94.46 US cents.
