The Pakistan army’s protest has come in response to a Nato helicopter attack on the Datta Khel area in North Waziristan on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The Pakistan army has demanded a flag meeting over the border incursion.
It may be mentioned that Nato helicopters made incursions into Pakistani airspace on three separate occasions last year.
The first incident occurred in September when three Pakistani paramilitary soldiers were killed and three others injured which led to diplomatic tensions forcing Pakistan to shut down the Nato supply line with Afghanistan.
However, the supply line was restored more than a week after the US tendered an official apology for the cross-border attack on security forces.
The incident comes after the US Special Forces killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad on May 2.
