South Korea bonds end lower on Fed tapering bets

SEOUL: South Korean bonds ended lower on Thursday, undercut by renewed speculation that the US Federal Reserve could begin tapering its massive bond-buying stimulus as early as December.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year government bonds ended up 4.1 basis points, while lead December futures on three-year treasury bonds ended down 0.06 point.
