US Treasury 30-year bond fetches 3.81pc

WASHINGTON: The US Treasury auctioned $16 billion in 30-year bonds Thursday at a high yield of 3.81 percent, compared to 3.76 percent in October.

The bid-to-cover ratio fell to 2.16, with 73.59 percent of the sale allotted at the high yield.

Direct bidders took 18.27 percent of the sale, and indirect bidders 35.25 percent.
