PR earns Rs32.8mn extra income due to Eid discounts

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways earned Rs 32.80 million additional income during three days of Eid ul Azha as compared to the previous year on the same occasion due to special discounted fares.

According to the information collected from the PR sources on Friday, the PR reduced fare by 40 percent for all passenger trains on Eid on the direction of PR Minister Khwaja Saad Rafique to facilitate passengers.

A number of people enjoyed the facility and expressed their trust on the PR by travelling via trains.
