Power shortfall eases to 2,800 MW

ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country eased to 2,800 MW on Thursday as the total generation was recorded as 12,900 MW against the demand of 15,700 MW during the last 24 hours.

According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 6,220 MW, Thermal 1,580 and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,100 MW.
