Balochistan Assembly passes Balochistan Mines Bill

Balochistan Minister for Mines Mir Abdul Rehman Mengal moved the bill which was adopted unanimously.

Earlier, the members of the assembly offered Fateha for martyrs of Hazara Town tragedy.

Speaking on the occasion, Balochistan Minister for Works and Communication Mir Sadiq Umrani termed the Hazara Town terrorism incident a conspiracy to promote sectarianism amongst Muslims.

Balochistan Minister Syed Ahsan Shah demanded of the government to ink agreement with the Iranian government for getting more electricity for Makran division. He claimed that Iran was ready to inject more 35 MW electricity into the transmission line which had already been supplying 35 MW power to Makran division.

Speaker Bhootani asked Secretary Assembly to write a letter to Ministry of Water and Power to mull over the issue and take proper action in this regard.

Later, the Speaker adjourned the session till May 10.
