CERNOBBIO: Italian state railway company Ferrovie dello Stato plans to issue a bond worth 500-600 million euros ($658-789 million) by the end of the year, its chief executive said on Friday.

The bond may include a portion for retail investors, Mauro Moretti told reporters on the sidelines of a business conference.

Ferrovie dello Stato's last bond was aimed only at institutional investors and was worth 750 million euros.
