Minister for ensuring sale of `Atta' at official rate

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Food, Jam Mahtab Hussain Dahar, has directed that the sale of `Atta' (flour) be ensured at the official rates.

He instructed here on Wednesday that a vigilant eye be kept on the price of Atta in the province and that none be allowed to overcharge.

The Minister directed that stern action be initiated against those indulging in profiteering.

He took notice of reports of overcharging in Mirpurkhas and directed Commissioner and Food Department officials to ensure the sale of Atta at the rate of Rs. 40 per kg.

The Minister pointed out that the flour mills owners have been provided wheat quota in the month of August instead of September so that more and more relief be provided to the people.
