Berth occupancy was 65% at the Port on Tuesday where a total seven ships namely Nysted Maersk, Aoyama, Ikan Salmon, Inlaco Brave, Panagia Stenion, As Ophelia and M.T Karachi are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, rape seed, chemical and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 81593 tonnes comprising 62062 tonnes imports and 19531 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 910 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
